Office Assistant - Provo

Description:

Veracity Networks, a leading Telecommunications company based in Provo, is looking for a full-time Office Assistant for the Small Business & Residential Sales Department.  The assistant will work with the Director of Small Business & Residential Sales to coordinate the efforts of the Inside Sales team and ensure the accuracy of new orders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Verify the accuracy of each order and enter the data into the billing system
  • Update multiple reports daily in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs
  • Track and assign online orders to sales representatives
  • Answer customer questions regarding pricing and products via online web chat
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team, the provisioning department, and the billing department
  • Other assignments and projects as given by the Director

Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduate and some college preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task
  • Must possess a high degree of organization, initiative, integrity, and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and especially Excel)
  • Must project a professional image of the company through in-person, electronic, and telephone interaction

Additional Qualifications:

The following qualifications are not required for consideration in this position.  However, candidates possessing some or all of these qualifications may receive higher priority in hiring decisions.

  • Previous experience as an Office Assistant
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in customer service
  • Experience in sales

Compensation:  $10-$12/hr DOE
